Do You Have Any Of These Challenges...

Feeling overwhelmed by the many tasks involved with the college application process? Are you wondering where to start and why it’s so complicated to get a student into a great college or university? Does the thought of how much college will cost keep you up at night? Or maybe you’re interested in finding additional scholarships to lighten the load on your wallet or put some extra cash in your child’s pocket for living expenses?

A Little More About My Story…

My family had some of the same worries you may have today. My father, a widower in his early 30s worked tirelessly to provide for my three sisters and me. We didn’t have everything we wanted, but we knew we were loved and had what we needed. My father pushed us to excel in the classroom and at least one club or activity. He was always there shuttling us to and from events. We knew college was next after high school, but never talked about how to apply or paying for it. Often times, this is something families face too late.

Here's The Solution I Found…

As a kid, I loved books, and especially enjoyed going to the library. I figured most things I needed to learn could be found in books, including how to pay for college. So…in junior high, I started researching scholarships. I started asking my dad for stamps on a regular basis because I was writing scholarship foundations and programs to ask for an application. I figured the applications would show me what I needed to do in high school so I could one day win those awards and strengthened my college applications.

I Found Success And Can Help You Do The Same…

What I learned in junior high paid off to the tune of a bachelor’s and master’s degree on full academic scholarship from The University of Texas at Austin. Yes, both degrees were on full academic scholarship.

Over the last 20 years, countless students and their families have pocketed up to $10k in scholarships each year for 4 years. My last year working in a private high school, my 99 graduating seniors were awarded over $7.2M in scholarships.

This Program Will Help You Cut Through The Noise And Get Results...

Once you and your family complete College Edge, you will be equipped with the knowledge you need to apply for college without the stress and worry you may be feeling at this point. Your family will be able to sleep peacefully knowing you have a strategy for success in place.

Here’s The Old Way vs. The New Way...

It can be stressful applying to college; the process has changed considerably over the years. Gone are the years of a one-page front and back application.

Plus, it is increasingly more difficult to be admitted to college. At some state schools, students must be ranked as high as the top 6% in their graduating class to be admitted to that university…or top 2% for their preferred major.

Pocket-draining tuition costs also threaten family budgets.

Factor in very uncertain times; it is evident your family needs a guide, a strategic partner to help you come out ahead.

Here Are The Most Common Mistakes

Over the years, I’ve seen families struggle with time, money, and stress:

Most families underestimate the amount of time needed for the college admissions process. It can feel like a part-time job for both students and parents. This course will help you break it down into bite-size pieces and reach your goals.

Families also wait too late to look for and apply for scholarships. The sooner you get started, the better! Not only does it help with receiving grants and winning scholarships, but it can give your student an advantage in the admissions process.

Working on college applications primarily in the Fall of senior year can be very stressful. Starting earlier benefits everyone in the home because you’ll get to enjoy each other without the added worry.  Life is better for everyone when students can fully enjoy their senior year.
